About Zexa 10mg

Zexa 10mg Tablet is an anti dementia drug. It is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's and dementia associated with it. Each tablet of Zexa contains the active ingredient Memantine, which is an N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor inhibitor (NMDA receptor inhibitor) used to treat severe confusion and improve memory and the ability to do daily tasks.

What dose should I choose?

In adults, the usual initial dose is a ½ tablet (5 mg) taken orally once per day during the first week which is gradually increased to 1 tablet (10 mg) daily after 7 days. The maximum dose for adults is 2 tablets (20 mg) taken orally per day.

Zexa 10mg is not recommended for use in children.

If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the already missed dose if it's almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
