Disprol suspension is an analgesic (pain reliever), and antipyretic (lowering body temperature) used to treat pains and reduce fever in children.

How effective is Disprol suspension?

Disprol pediatric suspension contains paracetamol which lowers body temperature and treats pain like headache, teething pain, sore throat, pain and fever caused by the common cold, after vaccination.

What dose should I choose?

Disprol Suspension must always be given with the spoon provided in the packing. Shake well at least 10 seconds before use.

Disprol Suspension is not recommended for babies less than 2 months old.

Do not give more than 2 doses. 4 hours gap interval is a must between 2 doses.

For post Vaccination fever in Babies:

2-3 months old give 2.5 ml after every 4-6 hours.
3-6 months old give 2.5 ml every 6 hourly
6-24 months old, 5ml every 6 hourly
2-4-year-old, 7.5 ml every 6 hourly
4-8 years, 10ml every 6 hourly
8-10 years, 15ml every 6 hourly
10-12 years, 20 ml every 6 hourly
