How effective is Amtas 5/80mg?

Amtas 5/80mg Tablet is used for hypertension and contains two drugs, Telmisartan and amlodipine. Telmisartan belongs to the class of medications known as angiotensin receptor blockers or ARBs. It lowers blood pressure by blocking a chemical known as angiotensin. This allows the blood vessels to relax and let blood through them easier. The second drug, Amlodipine, belongs to the group of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. This drug is helpful in the issues like angina, too. The mechanism of this medicine is just like the other one. This one also works by relaxing the blood vessels.
