Vastarel 20mg Tablet includes an important agent called Trimetazidine. Trimetazidine is an anti-ischemic (or anti-anginal) metabolic agent of the fatty acid oxidation inhibitor class, which means that it improves myocardial glucose utilization through inhibition of fatty acid metabolism. Vastarel 20mg medicine is used in combination with other medicines to treat angina pectoris. This medicine protects the heart cells from the effects of a reduced oxygen supply during an episode of angina.

The recommended dose for an adult (18 and above) is 1 Tablet of Vastarel 20mg, up to 3 times a day, preferably with meals.
Vastarel 20mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children (17 and below).
The treatment’s benefit should be assessed after three months. Vastarel 20mg Tablet should be discontinued if there is no treatment response. Take this drug regularly to get the most benefit from it. Take Vastarel 20mg at the same time each day. Do not take more than the prescribed dose.
