About Protektin 500mg Tablet

Protektin 500mg Tablet is used for the treatment of bacterial infections such as; bacterial prostatitis, complicated urinary tract infections, acute pyelonephritis, complicated skin and soft tissue infections, community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and acute bacterial sinusitis.

Protektin 500mg Tablet is composed of Levofloxacin which belongs to a group of medicines known as quinolone antibiotics. Protektin 500mg shows effectiveness by stopping the growth of bacteria. Protektin 500mg is only effective against bacterial infections and will not treat viral infections.
