The recommended dosage of Lincocin 600mg 2ml is given below:
Adults:
For serious infections, the recommended dose of Lincocin 600mg 2ml is 1 Injection every 24 hours.
For more serious infections, the dose of Lincocin 600mg 2ml is 1 Injection every 12 hours.
Children (over 1 month):
For serious infections, the recommended dose of Lincocin 600mg 2ml is one injection given by the formula 10mg/kg/day.
For more serious infections, one injection of Lincocin 600mg 2ml is given by the formula 10 mg/kg every 12 hours.
Adults:
We determine the intravenous dose by the severity of the bacterial infection.
The recommended dose for serious infections is 600 mg of Lincomycin (2 ml of Lincocin) to 1000 mg every 8 to 12 hours. These dosages may be increased for more severe infections.
The intravenous dose in life-threatening situations is 8 grams per day. These doses are given as 1 gram of Lincomycin diluted in not less than 100 mL of solution and administered over a period of no less than one hour.
