About Lidosporin 5ml Drops

Lidosporin 5ml drop is used for the treatment of outer infections caused by certain bacteria. Lidosporin 5ml is also used for the treatment of outer ear infections that can occur because of ear surgery.

Lidosporin 5ml drop is composed of Polymyxin + Neomycin. Polymyxin belongs to a group of medicines known as polymyxins. Neomycin is one of a category of drugs called antibiotics of aminoglycosides. Lidosporin 5ml shows effectiveness by stopping the growth of bacteria and eventually kill them. Lidosporin 5ml will not work for viral infections of the ear.
